We are a group of moms from Texas, who found connection and joy through our monthly Mom’s Book Club. That joy eventually spilled over and led us to create a Kid’s Book Club for our children.
Starting in 2019, just before the pandemic, we enjoyed meeting only a few times in person before the world shut down. In fact, our first Kid’s Book Club was in March of 2020, and our conversations were divided between the book discussion and how weird it was that toilet paper was getting hard to find… a week later the world became a different place.
We’re so glad we got started before that, because it provided a way to feel connected in a world that suddenly became isolated. We had more time to read and the luxury of zoom to keep our book clubs going.
Here we are, almost 5 years later, going strong with a plethora of books under our belts. We’ve watched our lives intertwine and have become like family. New traditions have been added over the years from movie nights, to themed dinners, girls trips, mom’s nights out, kid’s hang outs and art clubs.
This lifestyle started with one book, and it is so rewarding that we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience something like it. We hope to inspire that through sharing about our book clubs and providing resources along the way.
Happy reading, friends!
